Management and front office staff are incompetent bordering on fraudulent. They will act like they care when cornered, but then delay, defer, and ignore you whenever possible. I really feel for the doctors working here to get experience, because theyve been great to me, but this clinic is ran horribly.- When I first visited this clinic for a routine physical they overcoded and thus overbilled by several hundred dollars. It took me three months to get this refunded.- They push in-person lab reviews as a matter of routine practice in order to increase billables, even if there arent problems, they wont call ahead of time to let you know.- I had a prescription that required a P/A and was told it would take two weeks to get an answer. They waited exactly 2 weeks before calling me back to tell me they didnt have my insurance information. It was over a week after they informed me my P/A was denied (they never filed the P/A, I checked).- They told me they would file a P/A for an alternative drug. They never filed this one either. Instead they simply sent the prescription and billed me for a full consultation (it was a 1 minute phone call).- In addition to this they will automatically charge a flat amount per visit regardless of your insurance status, and they will not inform you if you are eligible for a refund. Even worse they will apply that amount to other bills owed without telling you, even if those bills are also not correct (see first point).I was able to get a hold of management here to air my grievances, and I was given every assurance things would be made right. And then I was ignored for weeks. I never did hear back from Aayu, but instead their third party billing vendor called me and was able to clear things up, and this was after I followed up with calls and emails multiple times. I only found out things were fixed when I got a corrected bill in the mail. Nobody ever reached out again.Every single thing they do is to maximize profits and not patient care. This place is an absolute embarrassment. I gave them the benefit of the doubt every single time and they failed me constantly. Ive reported them to my insurance and Im leaving this review here. I hope this helps save someone the hassle I went through.Avoid.

Instead of consolidating 3 visits into 1, had a virtual visit to let me know that the nature of my visit would need to be done in person… a receptionist or anybody could have made a phone call and let me know that I needed an in person visit instead of wasting my time. Then waited over 40 minutes from my appointment time for a provider to see me only to tell me that she’s going to need to get a different provider to help me because she doesn’t know anything about my issues, but he might… they knew what I was coming in for, why would you send the person who doesn’t know about it? Finally, was seen by somebody who could answer my questions and address my concerns. The lab tech who drew my blood was absolutely wonderful, the only positive in this experience. After my 3rd visit I was finally able to have my prescription renewed only to go to the pharmacy to find out that they didn’t have the proper dosage and my provider would need to update the prescription. They eventually updated it… only to have a 3 month supply prescribed, but once opened it expired in 28 days. That’s not a 3 month supply. I then emailed to ask about the prescription only to get an email and a call back ignoring my questions, asking to set up an annual exam(which I was under the impression we just did). Was told somebody would get back to me and that I couldn’t speak to a provider over the phone. Another email. Not responded to. Another phone call, same run around. I don’t know if anybody is capable of answering questions regarding prescriptions without an appointment. Not really sure how this place functions as a business, let alone a place for folks to seek health and wellness… the only thing they’ve provided is poor service, poor communication and additional stress and anxiety. Luckily I have an unaffiliated therapist and psychologist. If your insurance covers anywhere else, likely a better option. Its been over 3 weeks. Finally received a voicemail from the Dr. He said hed call back today at 1030, hasnt called, hasnt answered my calls, or responded to my voicemail. The receptionist again let me know that theres nobody available to answer my questions and that hed message the doctor to hopefully reach out, but cant give me an idea of when. Theres nobody capable of answering my questions available.... not an idea of when... its been over 3 weeks and we still cant find somebody to answer my medical/prescription related questions?? This place is completely unprofessional.

Read carefully at the bad reviews here because they are all accurate. Overbilling, then ignoring you for weeks and having a THIRD party call you to tell you actually you get no refund (after someone from their billing department admited via phone call it was not meant to be charged) is beyond ridiculous. I am being charged close to $500 for a 5 min check up needed for office, not sick , and needed a doctors note. A nurse practitioner or PA cannot be charged more than someone who is a specialist and charges less and this clinic is making this happen. They are charging people as if this were a urgent care visit when it was clarified via phone it was incorrectly billed- there is also a phone call recorded of this. Do not waste your time and instead file a claim against with billing fraud directly elsewhere and stop these thieves from continuing to overcharge. I was also told I did not pay an initial fee when clearly you cannot leave the first visit without a $175 initial fee. Thieves and liars.

I went here for the first time because they were one of the only clinics in the area that accepted my insurance. I received my results quickly which was nice. They tried to make me schedule a virtual appointment to view the results, which I found really odd. I’m glad I canceled that because I could review the results online.I had a negative experience with the nurse. I don’t remember her name. I revealed lifestyle information and was completely shamed by her. I’m obviously not comfortable leaving details here, but the experience was unprofessional and unethical. If this nurse can’t separate her beliefs from her work, she should transition to a different line of work.

Writing this 5-star review for the staff at Aayu Clinic who helped me greatly yesterday evening. I was a Walk-in, no appointment, about an hour before closing. I received excellent care from the moment I stepped into the clinic until I left the building. There werent many people ahead of me and I was seen within the hour they estimated. They quickly filled a RX for me and I was able to pick it up from Walgreens later that same evening before they closed. Sending everyone a special shout-out for their professionalism and compassion. They genuinely seemed to care, even for a guy like me showing up an hour before closing with no appointment. Its only been one night of sleep but the issue I came in for seems to be getting better. Thank you all.

This place is a joke. Like some of other reviews mentioned, they bill you for multiple visits including the lab review. They won’t tell you that upfront though because they like to operate using deceptive practices. You can read the labs on your own but they won’t release it through their patient portal beforehand. They know that if they share the lab report and everything is fine, no one will need the scheduled lab review. They don’t give you an option either way. I had a call for 1 min to be told my lab review results are fine and they want to bill my insurance and charge me a co-pay.

The nurse practitioner was great during my annual checkup.Issue is with the billing. After I had my blood work done, I was scheduled for a follow up telehealth appointment to review my lab results. The person doing my lab review showed up 15 mins late and the appointment itself lasted not even 10 minutes. I was charged $95 for this office visit where the PA ran through my results as fast as possible and didnt tell me anything helpful about my results that I couldve have just googled. Really illustrates how broken our healthcare system is in this country -- its dystopian that a 10 min video call costs $95 AFTER insuranceThis is a fine place to get an annual checkup if its covered by your insurance, but be very weary of how they will find ways to overcharge you for unnecessary services.

This rating is strictly for an annual exam, not urgent care visits. When I arrived for my annual exam, the CNA that took my vitals was all over the place. She took my temperature twice and had me step on the scale two times because she had forgotten to write the information down. When I told her that she had already done both she said, oh I did, what was it? I told her about important family medical history and I heard her go under her breath, mmm that option isnt listed here. I had to double check with the NP that the information was in my chart. The CNA saw a note that I wanted a prozac refill and told me mmm I dont know if she will prescribe that. I was shocked and asked why, she said, you know its like Xanax, some doctors dont prescribe it. A mild dose of Prozac is not Xanax, but the comment made my anxiety skyrocket. The CNA then told me to get in the gown and within a minute of leaving she opened the door again (no knock) and made direct eye contact with me as I was undressed and said oops sorry. The reason to open the door with me undressed? To put medical tape on the counter...Not needed for my appt. Did I mention she left the room with the pulse oximeter still on my finger? Then the NP came in and was very friendly, assessment was fine. The main issue I have is that I put on my appt request that I needed a Prozac refill. In my intake forms there are four mental health evaluations, all showing need for follow up questions (I am a MSW and familiar with these assessments). I told the NP that I have been on the meds for over two decades. She said that insurance would not cover the appointment if she asked me mental health questions, so I would need to schedule another phone visit (costing me more $/how does she know what my insurance covers?). She did not ask if I was okay, if I had enough medication until a follow up appointment (Hello, 20 years on a med might lead to withdrawals???). Literally nothing other than to explain that the only reason for the mental health evaluations on the intake form was to make sure I wasnt suicidal. My insurance (BCBS) explicitly states that mental health evaluations are covered in preventative care. I called them and sent them a copy of my insurance to show that I had it covered. They agreed that it should have been covered. At that point I was so anxious and just done with the whole thing. I was able to reach out to my previous doctor and they called in my rx right away.I felt like my care was sloppy and frankly irresponsible.

$175 plus your copay if your a new patient. Front desk said the director collects upfront even though im covered and will refund later. Very tacky! Dont waste your money or time.

Everyone was very nice and welcoming which made me feel comfortable! Christine was a breath of fresh air & got me in & out without feeling rush. The front office helped with the paperwork because it was a bit confusing and it helps that place is open 7 days a week.

FRAUDULENT. The billing and prescription system here is so bad, it has almost forced me off the SSRI medication that helps manage my anxiety and depression. This is a terrible, money-hungry system. My insurance covers three months of medication at a time, but Anyu will only send one month at a time, because they require a $30 mental health evaluation every month in order to refill my prescription.I’ve been on an SSRI for three years. I explained to the provider that I do not need a monthly evaluation, I know the medication works for me. Ironically, the only thing that gives me suicidal thoughts now is dealing with this fraudulent system just to access medication I’ve already been safely taking for years.Requiring a $30 fee every month just to continue an SSRI prescription is unsafe, predatory, and borderline immoral. Anyu knows I struggle with anxiety and depression, and instead of helping me, they’ve made it worse and set me back. This is the worst thing a medical provider can do.The one positive thing I will say is that the staff are kind and professional, but to the providers working under this sketchy system: leave and don’t look back. Otherwise, you’re complicit in a system that exploits vulnerable people under the guise of care.

I had flu/sore throat symptoms and went there to get checked and get medication since I would have to go to work the next day. Got only tested for covid and flu, which flu was positive. Besides providing my health insurance they still charged me $175.00 for only 2 tests. I informed the address for the pharmacy I would like to get the medication and over 1 hour there waiting, my prescription was not sent over. I called to figure what was going on and they told me they sent to the wrong location, then I had to wait a bit more to get the prescription sent to the right location. 2 days later my symptoms got worse, and I went back, they charged me $50.00 plus insurance and told me I might would have strep throat (?) so they prescribed more medication. After that I needed work doc to bring to work, they said they would send to my email, 2 days later, I called to ask again, and receptionist said would send in minutes. A few days later I called again to find out they sent to a wrong email. Dont recommend this place.

Do not use this clinic. Time and time again, they have proven to have an incredibly terrible customer service. I was going through the process to receive a treatment from the clinic facility and my appointment was scheduled for a certain time and I made arrangements for that time. The morning of, they called me and tell me that I need to be there an hour and a half before the service. I have a job and was already making arrangements to be there at least a half an hour before because that’s what I was told previously. I ended up having to cancel my very important appointment and couldn’t even reschedule when I needed to. They don’t call you to tell you anything when they say they are going to. It’s a mess they’re truly.

Terrible experience here. I was repeatedly lied to that an essential medication i take was being raised as Im experiencing more issues. They even defrauded me and my insurance provider by forcing me to make a seperate appointment solely for this issue in which they agreed to up my dosage. Not often will you have mulitple doctors from an organization lie to you. Horrible. This has been going on for 2 MONTHS.

Bri DeMaster

Almost no wait time to get put in a room, see the provider, and get a blood draw. lauren (PA) was very helpful and talked to me about my concerns, and took the time to actually explain the biology of my concerns. my veins also like to hide on blood draws, but khalise (sorry if misspelled) the phlebotomist was legitimately a saint. didnt even feel around my right arm, just looked and said, those look like tendons, im not gonna try that, lets see your left arm. she looked at it, pressed lightly on one vein one time, and put the needle in and i DID NOT EVEN FEEL IT. i have not had an easy blood draw in years, never leave without multiple arm bruises, so this was a big deal for me. not a bruise in sight!

Eric Amaya

Had an amazing experience at this clinic. Im very happy I made my appointment with this clinic, The care team is fabulous and I feel like Im in good hands.

Markie Lutz

I wouldnt recommend the virtual appointments. I scheduled a virtual appointment, filled out all the forms, and was never provided information on how to join or contacted at all at my appointment time. Then received an email several hours after my appointment time to inform me that they canceled.

Breanna Kellogg

Service was fine. They made me make another appointment for my results. I asked if this would be another charge and was told no. They then charged me for a 5 second telehealth visit. When I refuted the second charge for the telehealth because I was told that I would not have to pay for this I was told to bad. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR RESULTS ESPECIALLY IF EVERYTHING WAS NORMAL. Do not go here they just want to make money off you.

Marina Schenk

Very friendly staff and great service. They’re super quick, yet efficient. The doctors here take the time to listen to you and provide solid recommendations. They also provide follow up consultations instead of just emails. Highly recommend for one off appts or primary care.

Adrienne

I think Ive finally found a great provider. I particularly appreciated the follow-up virtual lab call, where all my lab results were discussed in detail without feeling rushed and explained in a way I could understand. This is a well-run facility, and Im grateful they accept my insurance.

Emily Beatty

I have been a patient here for 3 years and unfortunately my experience is now echoing that of the other recent negative reviews. Ive been trying to refill a prescription for 3.5 months that Id been receiving regularly. My insurance repeatedly sent them faxes, mailed letters, gave them a direct number to call, everything just to get the basic info they needed to fill out the prescription. After calling multiple times a week for 3 MONTHS and being promised help, I still dont have my prescription and am blown away by the lack of basic effort and feel totally powerless at their mercy. They dont return calls, dont respond to messages on the portal like they promise, and as a result my health has greatly suffered at the hands of their care.

Jacob Bonnema

I had a lovely medical assistant and PA (whose names I can’t remember unfortunately) but they helped me very professionally and kindly. As a fellow healthcare person, it was a nice experience especially when you’re not used to being on that side of things. I appreciated the professionalism and personality of the staff and overall streamlined visit.

I am extremely happy with Aayu Clinics! I stopped seeing my regular doctor because he always said the earliest he could see me was over a month away due to too many patients. I came across Aayu Clinics when I needed a COVID test to travel during the pandemic. Now, I go there for all my primary care needs because I can always get a same-day appointment, at the latest the next day. Its super convenient for me. Ive visited Aayu Clinics at least 10 times and scheduling appointments has always been easy with so much availability. The staff and doctors there have been fantastic every time. I definitely recommend Aayu Clinics to everyone.

I went to this clinic for a basic lung inflammation, as I’m a born asthmatic and it happens from time to time. I’ve gone here a few times over the last few years for the same situation. I received/always receive a steroid and antibiotic (usual). I needed a second round, as I wasn’t 100% when I finished the first round. They said I needed to come in again but I was traveling for the week and couldn’t. It’s now going on day 4 with no refill and I feel as I’m getting slightly worse again. Never had a doctor / provider not give a refill (if needed) on basic medication. I guess this clinic needs the additional office charges over helping a patient get better.9/14 - I went again to this location today and everyone was so nice, helpful and caring! In and out quickly and with ease. Great physicians and staff !! I apologize for my prior review of a 1 star. Changing my review to a 5 star. Thank you AayuClinic !

DO NOT GO HEREUnprofessional and disorganized. Even if your appointment states you are seeing a specific doctor, you will never see a doctor... they are all nurses and nurse practitioners.Booking my first appointment online was easy and quick... but thats probably the only thing that was good.First VisitThey assured me that their clinic was within my health insurance network; they lied. Also asked for payment up front.I waited 1.5 hours to be seen. I arrived early, so I probably waited 2 hours in total. That is ridiculous. They asked for a urine sample on the day of, without previous warning. Still waiting on what the results were... what did they do with it?They wanted to have me as a new primary care patient, so I scheduled two more appointments.2nd Visit15mins before my appointment they called to push back my appointment by an hour.Asked for payment upfront again.Waited 45mins to be seen. I arrived 15mins early, so the wait was 1 hour. They asked for another urine sample on the day again and I didnt receive any results from it. What are they doing with it?I made an online account to see my medications... some of my medications they prescribed were missing.3rd VisitThey canceled my appointment and didnt notify me. I had to walk in to the office at my appointment time to find out.4th VisitI was running 5 mins late to the visit, so I tried to call them. Their lines were busy and I couldnt get through. I made it to the clinic barley at my appointment time, but had to wait 10mins for the front desk person to hang up her phone. Then she told me the doctor has other patients so he cant see me.

Ro Kumar

Terrible service at the front desk. Polite. But absolutely useless.Usually when I show up for my appointments I wait. Pretty accustomed to it because thats what you get with Aayu Clinic at Wicker Park. Long wait times before you see the doc or PA.I showed for my appointment today and was told Id have to wait for an hour because I was late. I looked at my watch and I was late by 2mins!!!!When I complained, I was snarkily told I was 5mins late. Service at its best!!!Nobody else waiting in the lobby. The one person that was waiting ahead of me was ushered in by the nurse.

Dev Prakash

Initially they mentioned that Insurance covers even when confirmed in person before the annual checkup (I was told all of it is covered and dont have to pay anything). After the report gets generated there is a follow up call with a lab technician who does not give any details. They charged me for multiple visits but I had only 1 in-person visit and other one was a virtual read out of the report. They will directly send bills for every interaction even when their front desk mentioned it was covered in the insurance.Avoid this place.

Sky Bussanmas

Walked in an immediately felt like I was welcomed instead of a bother. I was relaxed, listened to, and treated in a proper time as a walk-in appointment. My doctor Ezra immediately made me feel seen and heard and helped me out so much. I felt extremely comfortable in his care and the nurses and front desk went above and beyond for my further treatments needed; including googling and price checking multiple specialists in the area for someone without health insurance. Very happy with my experience and treatment and have marked them as my primary care provider.

Mark Bouchard

Probably the most disorganized doctors office I’ve ever been to. Over the phone was told I was just coming in for a refill; in person got told I needed some tests, THEN at the same appt told that one of the tests was optional. 30 min after I got home I got the most rude phone call I’ve ever had from the location’s office manager, yelling at me for “ducking” the mandatory test needed to dispense my prescription.I go back, get the test. They say my meds will be sent over, send a text to me saying that they have been. Cool. Today, I go to the pharmacy. The prescriber sent over everything but my adhd meds. You really have to laugh.

Momo G

Received the best care from all of the providers at the clinic even when I come in for walk in appointment! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable! Was very happy to make them my primary care practice! Receive immediate care and great follow up care from staff. They really go above and beyond for their patients!

Gigi P.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I have been here for multiple different types of appointments - check-up, urgent care, long-term care with a naturopathic doctor - and every time I have been treated with kindness and respect. It is so easy to book an appointment and every medical professional working at Aayu Wicker Park has been so thorough. I will continue to go back with my physical/mental health needs.

Carlos Nunez

The interaction with the personal was good. I am giving one star because of an upfront charge of $175.00 per the lady in the front desk, it was a deductible. If every visit I will be charged $175, then is not the place for my budget.

Danielle Mari

I love this office. It’s the first doctors office since I was a kid that had a more personal feel to it. They actually remember faces (even with masks on!). I’ve seen almost all of the Doctors and each one is very patient and sweet. The rest of the staff follow this same vibe as well. They truly help guide you towards the best care that‘s catered to what you need and want. Most other doctors offices I’ve visited are very quick and impersonal. Which is why I don’t mind driving out of my way to stick with the Wicker Park location. I haven’t had a bad experience yet and don’t anticipate on it either.

Grace Sweeney

Although I had a relatively nice experience in the office it really doesn’t matter much if I can’t get the treatment I need in an efficient manner. Two days to get my test results back. I go to get my prescription and the pharmacy said I have none. I called FIVE times to figure out what was going on, got hung up on, waited 15 minutes to speak to someone to be told it may be until the end of the day to get the prescription send over. This has never happened to me at any urgent care to be so slow and nonchalant prescriptions. I went to urgent care so I could quickly address my illness and get better quicker. Not wait around feeling gross for days.

Erin R

I had a mostly positive experience. The care I received was good, the receptionist, nurse, and doctor all explained what they were doing and answered my questions, and the issue I came in for is improving. There is an opportunity for improvement in trans inclusiveness. I was able to fill in my correct pronouns and gender identity on the forms, so obviously someone at this clinic cares. But it seemed that staff either do not look at the forms or need a lot of practice using they/them pronouns and not using inappropriately gendered honorifics, because they got it wrong every time.

Andi Vertz

This place used to be great, but not any more. I continually get mis-billed and they say I didn’t pay my co-pay (I did and have proof) and now I have been ghosted by my my doctor for 3 weeks and thus experienced a problematic gap in medication refills. Would absolutely not recommend this place for anything more in-depth than an urgent care visit.

Charissa JF

I came in for testing to determine where my cough and congestion was coming from. Ross was my PA and he did a great job with caring for his patients needs. He explained different viral and bacterial infections going around which helped me decide my next treatment steps. Good customer care!

Rebecca Seiler

Pretty long wait time for my in patient visit. I was supposed to have a 10min follow up via telehealth, and my provider was 15 min late. The appointment itself was fine- I had my annual exam. I did notice that my provider didn’t write down notes for everything I was sharing (a pretty major red flag). He only wrote notes for a few items in my medical history.I’m looking for a more integrative primary care doc, so I’m trying another provider at Aayu. Hopefully that will help me increase this rating!

Gina Munnings

The best experience I have ever had at an urgent care here in Chicago. Also the kindest, caring, professional experience I have had overall from living in another state as well. My health issue was difficult and different. I felt the Doctor and his assistant truly wanted to help resolve my issues. They took care of my immediate need as well as advising the next step. Thank you for your concern and empathy. Our family will be back for all our urgent care needs.

Scott Mao

Minimal wait times, extremely clean and new facilities. All of the staff is kind and thoughtful. Gladly returned several times within a month of the first urgent care visit as I made this my go-to my PCP spot - they offer a lot of in house services. Idc if I sound like a bot at this point, thank you guys!

Agustin Camacho

I was seen by Eric Martinez, NP he provided me with excellent service. He was empathetic and personable. He was extremely professional took his time. Was an incredible listener and answered all my questions. He elaborated on all my concerns and was never in anyway Condescending like some providers I’ve seen. I felt like he went above and beyond my expectations. He even secured a follow up appointment around my work schedule! Thank you Eric!

Gary Lehman

Be really careful of this place. I used them for primary care and they have really gone downhill the past few years. They were requiring me to take blood panels every three months to maintain my prescription (that was the same dosage for 5 years). I left and the dr told me that was excessive and unnecessary. Also, you can’t get a consistent medical professional even when to make an appointment.

Alba Orizaba

I wish I would’ve known about this place sooner :) . They offer more than just urgent care services. The staff members are also so friendly and personable. All the physicians I met have made me feel welcome and understood. Dr. Erick is also one to explain things very thoroughly with one and so nice! The wait times are amazing!!

Gabriel Canepa

If you have any kind of bone/joint injury, do NOT come here for a diagnosis. They dont even have an X-Ray on site. I injured my toe and they sent me somewhere else to get n X-Ray done. 175 bucks to tell me to go somewhere else is wild. Not only this, but they said it wasnt broken and should be fine in a week or two. Two weeks go by and its still hurting bad. I go to a podiatrist, they do an x-ray immediatly and tell me its broken. TWO WEEKS OF DELAYED TREATMENT. Im not sure about their other services but if you think youve potentially broken a bone, AVOID. Go to a doctor that knows what theyre talking about.

Angela Hernandez

When I first started going to this clinic, my experience was good. After being seen here for almost 2 years, I can confidently say I would NOT recommend anyone to seek mental health services here. I’ve become so frustrated with this clinic and staff, that I’ve decided to cancel my upcoming appointment with no intention of returning.1) They make it impossible to get a simple refill and will try to make you book an appointment for it. They also take forever to send it over to the pharmacy.2) They will brush off your concerns. For 7 months, I told them a certain medication was causing very bad side effects and they told me they didn’t think so because it wasn’t common. They finally took me off of it and the side effects disappeared after 2 weeks, and I have not experienced them since. I had another incident where I told them my insomnia had worsened but they refused to increase my trazodone dose or try a new medication, which resulted in me having to take the trazodone with Benadryl and melatonin to get at least 4 hours of sleep SOME nights.3) Their billing system is HORRIBLE. They have signs at the front desk and send texts/emails stating that you cannot see a provider without making a copayment or paying off your balance. I made every single payment and saved all my confirmation emails, just for them to tell me I suddenly have a balance of $125+ for unpaid copayments. I will send proof of the transactions and they’ll still claim I didn’t make those payments. I’ve had to contact the practice manager multiple times to try to resolve this, but good luck hearing back within a reasonable amount of time.4) Lastly, they will cancel your appointments without even notifying you, or they’ll schedule you with the wrong provider. There were times where I already made my payment and I’d be waiting for the telehealth link, and when I wouldn’t receive it, I’d have to call just for them to tell me it was cancelled. My reason for sticking around for so long was due to the difficulty of getting an appointment elsewhere. However, I spoke to a close friend who recommended another clinic nearby that I plan on scheduling an evaluation at.

I am so glad that I chose AAYU as my PCP. Open 7 days, and the messaging service they utilize is very reliable. Thank you to all the lovely doctors, nurses, nurse practioners and support staff for your great work.

miss sally

Ive used the wicker park office a few times for urgent care. Ive always had a decent experience, easy to get in, the staff are thorough. Often you see a physicians assistant but they are all competent to diagnose urgent care issues. I have a separate primary care doctor at northwestern but since its almost impossible to get a quick appointment there I use urgent care for minor stuff. This place does the trick. Angela was the PA today and she was excellent. Got a same day appointment

Hanna Karina

Outstanding. I felt very welcomed and listed to. Everyone on staff were efficient and extremely helpful. As someone without insurance, I felt like I was treated as an adult with reasonable prices. I went during an off busy hour. I gave direct communication of my specific problem. I understand that my issue was pretty straightforward, but I was treated better than I would have by any ER staff. Well worth the wait (fortunate enough to be able to wait a day).

Hector De La Mora Jr

What EXCEPTIONAL service! I’ve been bouncing around clinics trying to find a place I feel comfortable with and has appointments available when needed. I finally found it at Aayu. Woke up with eye infection symptoms, so I felt some urgency to finding a doctor and have my eyes checked out. Within 2 hours of waking up and deciding to find a doctor, I had an appointment at Aayu, had filled out all of my new-patient paperwork, was seen by a nurse, checked on by the doctor, made a follow up appointment, and had a prescription for eye drops already waiting for me at my local pharmacy. On top of the quick service, from the front desk to the nurses and doctor, they were ALL very professional and friendly. They provided all the information I needed and answered all of my questions. Very thankful for service like this when it comes to my health. THANK YOU!

Wesley Anne Barden

We’ve used this clinic twice and have had great experiences for both. Most recently I started to feel COVID symptoms and the staff provided immediate assistance, I was able to schedule a test fast, and all my questions we’re addressed. I also loved how easy and convenient the follow video-sessions we’re conducted. Would highly recommend.

Drew Aslin

This clinic has been a godsend for me. These are not just another run of the mill practice. They are the only provider that has been willing to investigate my health concerns further, get to the root cause of the problem, and create a legitimate plan of action to wellness. Dr. Brian is fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable in his field. He doesn’t dispense a bunch of drugs to relieve symptoms; he actually provides the right medicine to eliminate the issue. Eric also took my concerns seriously (of being over medicated by a previous doctor), and took the time to perform a gene panel so I wouldn’t have to play a game of trial and error roulette to find the right medication for my body. I wish I started seeing them sooner!

Doctors dont have any concerns about the patients. They dont care at all if you are extremely sick and the medication they prescribe , its only to make money. I really dont recommend them at all.

I walked in with a two year old complaining of arm pain after her daycare (next door) informed of it. I presented her proof of insurance, my ID and was prepared show Yami any proof payment requested. Instead, before my child was even seen, a copayment was demanded by Yami. I was apprehensive about the demand of payment before the administration of healthcare, as a person who’s been to emergency services, urgent car etc before including in November 2023 with my child for an ear infection. Logistically, is it $30 to walk in the door of urgent care, no care having been administered; what if I paid $30 waking in the door but then the line was too long, or I had to leave for the emergency room? Sounds a lot like fraud to me.When asked why I needed to pay before my child so much as said “ah”, Yumi shooed my child and I to a back room where I was shamed by Charlene about “their policy” and how my sick child could not possibly be seen until I paid. I was infused, I thought, finally my child was being seen by a medical professional. But no, over an hour into our “visit” we were just being hounded about the co pay. I told Charlene she could hold my credit card, debit card, whatever Aayu wanted, just please don’t charge it until a medical professional actually saw my child; I was wary of prepaying for medical services not even delivered, but I was also desperate, knowing the bandwidth of a two year old in a waiting room. I was confused: I’d shown proof of insurance and I’d never before been asked to pay a co pay before even seeing a doctor. After being trapped in that room (without treatment for my child) by Charlene, who was unkind, obdurate and repeating herself satisfyingly, i offered my debit card. I was led out to the waiting roomAnd told I could leave or wait. I left, ashamed and upset. Before I left, I noticed that other patients were not asked for a copayment before being seen. All such patients were white. I am black.

Great experience all around. I was able to book a timeslot online. I was able to use their messaging service to get it moved to an earlier, more convenient, time slot the same day as the appointment. I had my vitals taken and then met with Ezra. They were awesome. They answered all my questions, some of which were very LGBTQ-focused. I am new to the area and originally intended to just use this for any urgent care needs that might come up, but after my visit Ive decided to use them as my PCP. Very happy to have found them.

Mandie Sanders

Honestly the best experience Ive ever had at a walk-in clinic. Every person I interacted with was friendly and helpful, and talked with me like I was a real person. I saw Amanda today, who was extremely kind and helpful. I will definitely go back.

Herme-Linda Moncada

I have cross posted this review on their ketamine program page - which is hosted out of this clinic.if anyone (especially POC) is looking through these reviews wondering if this is the right place for you, DO NOT COME HERE. I came in for a ketamine eval as I have been dealing with ptsd for some time and have been ready to try something new to help. met with Ross (I think that was his name, a white man) for the eval where they ask some pretty deep and personal questions. and of course me being the trusting person I am, answered as best I could. I explicitly remember telling the doctors assistant (who was taking the eval) that I did NOT want to die and I have NOT attempted self harm nor did I want to. He says ok, says the nurse will be in for some lab work. Nearly an hour later (yes they had me waiting for that long), two police men and an emt are entering my room and forcibly taking me to the ER for a psych eval. At no point was I made aware that this was happening nor did the clinic think to even contact my emergency contact. This was an incredibly traumatic experience given I was there for treatment and I was thrown into an AMBULANCE surrounded by COPS. Im sorry but ANY doctor that think this is an appropriate thing to do to someone who EXPLICITLY said they had ptsd is so unqualified to be anywhere near mental health patients let alone practicing. Anyways, thankfully the ER folks immediately knew I had no business being at the hospital because I already have a therapist and doctor who are active in my healing journey. A complete waste of time and an incredibly traumatic experience to add to the list of things I am tryingto heal from. I was there for HOURS with no food or water and was completely stripped of my belongings and clothing. SHAME on this place. if ross and erika are reading this, you should both be incredibly ashamed and embarrassed and you should be nowhere near folks trying to better themselves. oh and this place took 225$ from me for this appointment and labs that were never even taken. DONT COME HERE

I have had such a good experience at this clinic the two times I’ve had to go. The staff are professional, sharp, and knowledgeable. They worked to fit me into the schedule very quickly. They stay in communication with you. I highly recommend the Aayu clinic in LakeView.

Gregory Winstead, MD, MPH

The medical provider was excellent, knowledgeable and concerned. The tester was excellent, thorough and compassionate. The only problem was that I didnt get my rapid COVID-19 test results until the next morning, instead of in 15 min. Nevertheless, the clinic made my results available and it was easy to access them. Overall, great experience, great staff, will be visiting Aayu clinics again in the future!

Brianne Boehrnsen

The entire staff have been amazing at all of my visits! Everyone is so kind and takes the time to answer all of your questions. Wicker Park location-just one favor to ask-Can you please turn down the temp in the front please? It’s blazing hot up front 😊

Andrew Rigsby

I really like going here for basic health needs. They are exceptionally kind and thoughtful. Of course I have found some providers to be better than others, but that is a personal preference not a professional judgement. I have never waited very long, even without an appointment. My only complaint is I recently requested a refill for a prescription and it never materialized. Granted it was through the pharmacy but I’ve not had such problems with other providers. Or if there was a question about filling I would usually receive a call. Still all and all I’ve good experience with this clinic.

Brittany Johnson

I used to do ketamine infusions here and after about a year the billing department sent me a statement for over thousands of dollars because they never told me my insurance was not covering it, so instead of saying anything while i was paying my portion for the treatment they just silently added it to the bill. I was always asking the receptionist if insurance was covering it and was told yes. When i got the bill i immediately called and was told by a management member I do not owe the previous amount as it was not a fault of mine but the billing company. I WISH i would have gotten her name because now a year later I am being told i still owe them money. Please be careful with this place, the billing department is the issue of this company. I now have to fight this whole situation yet again because somehow i still owe money when i havent been there in a year and was told i do not owe on that balance.

Shannon Schultz

Easy to schedule, everyone was friendly, was on time for my appointment, they ran all the normal tests plus the exam to be thorough with my diagnosis. It was also a teaching day, I was impressed they took the time to teach others while practicing but didn’t disrupt my experience in getting treated.

Sandra Bishop

I have been using the telehealth visit options and most recently Ketamine Infusions. The entire staff has been so patient, friendly, efficient, and very willing to schedule, accommodate special needs and follow up to see how I am doing. If there were six stars, I would give them that!

Christi Mayo

Beware - Aayu Clinics will scam you and your insurance company under the guise of protocol. I recently moved into the Wicker Park area and wanted to transition my primary care to somewhere close to home (my previous PCP is in the South Loop). They tried to convince me I needed to schedule three separate additional appointments to be assessed for whether or not I actually need medications that I have been prescribed for almost a decade. When I inquired as to why the assessments couldnt be completed while I was there today, they said that was just their protocol and was also not how insurance worked. I also spoke to the manager and asked if I could complete all the assessments they required of me in a separate visit on a different day, but she insisted I still needed three separate visits - not a good use of my time or the clinics, which leads me to believe this is just a money-making scheme so they can bill my insurance for a litany of unnecessary tests and visits.I have worked in healthcare for over a decade and have also been prescribed every medication I am on for at least 5 years. I also am deeply familiar with how insurance works. Dont be fooled - If you go to Aayu and they try to convince you this battery of tests and assessments is necessary and in your best interest run the other direction.2 stars because the medical assistant who took my vitals and blood was lovely. Everything else was a 1 star experience.

Charlotte Robers

I like the individual people here, the doctors are kind and as helpful as the rules allow, but Ive made my last appointment. I went here for many years and through the growth of the clinic and the pandemic, the quality of care is now below standard for me.I do not recommend this place for mental health care or for providing medications for mental health, as the tight rules they have to follow here make it a difficult experience, especially for those who are neurodivergent and/or have debilitating disorders. In my experience I made sure to be prepared for hoops to jump through:Know that getting simple prescriptions refilled will almost always require an in-person appointment with drug tests every year for controlled substances. Be ready for surprise changes in appointments and if they are in-person or not, and a general a lack of consistency. Be prepared to explain your disabilities that may already by listed on your chart, and be aware of a general vibe of being upsold or told to make extra appointments.Be sure to have a receipt and ask to confirm any payments they tell you are due when you arrive - many times the billing department has billed you for something incorrectly.Set yourself extra time for contacting this place, Email/app/phone and website are not always on the same page, contacting doctors can be difficult, lots of automation and messages sent to all devices. This place may be better rated for physical health care such as broken bones, but I have not needed healthcare in that area.

Felita Carrasco

I always go here to get my covid test. There has never been a wait and its always fast. I recently had to go here for urgent care because I have a cold that turned into a cough and i was not feeling well. Walk-ins are welcome and there is not a long wait. The front staff is awesome and the nurses and PAs are incredible!

Matthew Kent

I love this place. After a couple bad experiences with another prominent urgent care center in Wicker Park, I found Aayu and won’t be going anywhere else. The staff are friendly, the services are accessible and unlike they other place, they don’t tack on unnecessary ”check-ups” so that they can bill my insurance for them. It’s been great!

Nicholas Feeney

It was my first time going to the clinic. The lady working front desk was super cool. The woman who took me to check my vitals was also very nice and time efficient. The doc told me what it was and answered my questions. Keep doing your thing, ill see u for my physical.

Jackson Thomson

People are mostly nice (except one nurse/ doctor who was too busy to see me on the follow up) but incompetence and poor communication across the board meant what should have been 1 simple appointment for a physical ended up being 2 plus an online tele-health appointment. Also required 2 phone calls and an in person visit to get someone to change where my prescriptions were delivered. Doesnt feel personal at all and overall not worth the headache, wish I never came in.

Mersiha Marevac

My family and I have been going to Aayu Clinic for years. We love their oustanding customer service, personal attention and care they provide for each of their patients. I have never met friendlier staff who welcome you, not just as a patient, but someone who they care about and want to make sure you are provided the medical care and comfort you need.

Merrill Dove

Walked in for a Covid test without an appointment. The staff immediately checked me in without any issues. I also had my 5 year old grandson who needed a Covid test. The staff was very professional and kind. We were not rushed through and did not have to wait long. The technicians were very helpful and gentle. If I or anyone in my family needs another test we will only come to this clinic.Highly recommend coming here!

Chris Diaz

Worst experience with Aayu clinics. Their process to refill a prescription is the worst. Ive been to plenty of different doctors but they require a visit every month to get a prescription refill which costs me money every-time i visit on top of the cost of refilling my prescription. Would definitely suggest going somewhere else. Also its run by a bunch of med school students without doctorates, so chances youll be able to get the right diagnosis are very slim.

Alison Bee

The care Ive received is there has been good, but I had an interaction with someone in billing/administration that left a sour taste in my mouth. I was asking her questions about why the clinic took several months to return the balance of a deposit I had been asked to leave at my first appointment (due to clinic error), and she audibly whispered OH MY GOD over the phone so I could hear. The administration seems to have some issues, but the NP and Dr. I saw there were great. That said, I wont be going back or recommending Aayu to anyone. When health and privacy are involved, I expect better.

Adam Chapes

I was in town from Phoenix and had an allergic reaction to something. The clinic was fast, extremely professional, and some of the nicest most polite people in the health industry. I highly recommend this clinic.

Sharon Bethea

Amazingness. My technician (the person that took my swab) was so professional, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He has such a positive vibe and empathetic and very willing to assist me with all of my questions. He was also the person that took my phone call. Some of the best customer service I have ever had. The world would be a much better place if more people were like him. Thank you very much. I appreciate it so much. I was having a very stressful day and that experience made my day and made me smile. Thank you so much for your service. Sometimes it’s amazing what one person can do, a perfect stranger, to brighten up your day. Thanks again. signed Dr Bethea.

Cristian Burlea

I took my father to this facility for some routine labs. The physician took an extensive history and uncovered a serious condition that was missed by his primary doctor . My father is doing great now under the care of his new physician. The medical care is excellent, staff is caring and courteous. And the facility is stunning! I definitely recommend this office for both urgent care primary care needs.

Heather E

I was looking forward to coming here because of the great reviews and how close it was to my house, but as it turns out I shouldn’t have bothered. I had an 11:15 am appointment, and I didn’t leave the office until 1:00. After spending close to 2 hours waiting to be seen, I had about 5 minutes with a doctor or nurse or whatever she was who barely knew what she was doing. She fumbled around with her tools and equipment, and I was genuinely concerned by her lack of confidence in herself and the procedure she did on me. She even had to ask one of the nurses if she could prescribe me something because she didn’t know. How could she not know if she is allowed to prescribe medication to a patient? It was quite disturbing. The office is nice, the staff is friendly and I appreciate the online scheduling, but it was otherwise a pretty miserable experience and I won’t be back. I’ll make the trip to my usual clinic downtown.

Colleen Vrba

Consistently the best experience. AAYU has always been my first choice for testing myself, partner and kids. Weve been going here the entire pandemic and never had a bad experience. Weve collectively had more than 50 tests done here for exposure, travel or whatever. I 100% trust the staff and the results. To be totally honest, I might decide to come here for primary care once this freaking pandemic is over. They have the process down to a science - safe for everyone esp.the staff. Results are either sent by text or email (usually both). Almost always on time (I only had to call once) and seemingly reliable. Cant say enough about this well run establishment, at least when it comes to Covid testing. Well done, Aayu, well done.

E Moss

Everyone there is so nice and try their best to help you any way they can, both health wise and financially. The people at the front desk are always very transparent about costs and try to help you with your insurance as best they can and warn you if they believe your insurance may not cover everything. The doctors and nurses there are also amazing and do their best to find out whats wrong and give you immediate relief if they can. They explain everything theyre doing and try their best to get you to back to your best!

Alex Roy

Such professional, outstanding care at Aayu Clinics! I came in for an urgent care visit and decided to make it my primary care doctor because of the incredible level of care I received. The receptionist is so friendly and welcoming and the doctors truly take their time to understand your health concerns. Thank you so much for such a pleasant experience.

Kevin H

A friend of mine referred me to Aayu Clinics, and the experience was great! They were open on the coldest day of the year, and the front desk greeted me with smiles and took care of me very quickly! Everyone was very efficient and helpful, and I was in and out in less than an hour. I will definitely visit this clinic again and recommend it to anyone who is looking for medical care! Thanks!

Cheri Monik

So far, I have had a great experience at Aayu. I spent about an hour talking to Dr. Brian about my eczema, and he had great ideas about how to approach finding the source of it. I have been drinking the teas he suggested and using aloe vera, and I already feel 1000 times better.

Emet Lieberman

It’s rare that I have a positive experience when I come in contact with the American healthcare system but I can always make an appointment and be seen in a reasonable time and for a reasonable cost at Aayu

G

I like the doctor and I like his knowledge of medicine but they do not respect your time. I started coming here a few months ago and have been frequently coming in to figure out the best regimen for anxiety and depression and I’ve consistently had to wait 30+ minutes.Being that I rely on this doctor as my psychiatrist- in my opinion this is unacceptable!

Narciso Alvarado

Friendly staff, everyone cares about your health. They want to make sure you are feeling well after leaving their clinic. The doctors are amazing and listen to everything you have to say and make sure you are doing great during an exam.

Regina Allen

Called in regarding refilling a prescription, The patient care coordinator Ashley was extremely helpful in making sure someone got back to me in a timely manner as well as maintaining a professional attitude at all times. She was thorough with what needed to be done. I love Ashley spirit and she makes me more than happy and confident about picking this location as my primary healthcare location!!!!!Thank You

PLEASE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.I’ve had enough. I’ve been dealing with Dr. Shinde for a year now, and I have never left satisfied with the care I’ve received from him. He has kept me waiting for hours before our appointment, and for unbelievably long stretches of time DURING our appointment. He is completely distracted by receiving texts and taking calls while seeing me, and asks the same questions of me multiple times, sometimes in a row if he has been distracted. His practice and employees have also mistreated me and not taken my care or health seriously at all. Most recently, I had a pap smear that took TWO practitioners and at least EIGHT separate tries. They did not even collect a sufficient sample. The results of the pap BEFORE this took MONTHS to reach me, even as I am at risk for CERVICAL CANCER. Other instances include not being given important documents by the front desk staff, having THREE nurses attempt to draw my blood at once (again, multiple tries and many bruises), and the practice refusing to refill my medications even while going through terrible and painful withdrawal symptoms. I have never felt so disrespected, ignored, and disregarded by a medical practice as I have with Aayu Clinics. This practice is an absolute joke, and anyone who works within its grasp should feel ashamed to be working for such a horrific and horrendous medical practice. If any employees are curious, you’d know me by legal name, Kayla.

Margaux Friedman

I rarely review places but my experience was really smooth & stress-free. Had almost no wait, friendly staff, nurses & doctor. Best part was that you aren’t left sitting in the doctor’s office room just staring at the wall for 30 minutes either (you know it’s usually like that) — so I appreciated their timeliness. The only thing I noticed for people was that if you’re looking for walk-in covid tests, they only offer that at lakeview. I didn’t go for a covid test but I saw a few people who said they made an appointment online for that & accidentally went to wicker park location. Anyway, long story short, if you’re looking for a comfortable general MD office, Aayu was an easy process.

Aaron Bilgin

Very professional and friendly. They take their time to listen to you and make the right decisions. Very reasonable price if you do not have suitable insurance (I send my employees there)

Nathaniel H

I will never go to Aayu clinics again. On the day before thanksgiving, they nearly tripled their prices for rapid PCR tests from $99 to $275. I completely understand needing to raise prices because of increased demand, but almost tripling your prices the day you know people are needing to get tests before they see their families is greedy and not in the spirit of true healthcare. My girlfriend and I made our appointments a day and a half beforehand when their website said their prices were $99, but we didnt get any notification of the price change until we arrived for our tests. The staff here was nice and apologized about the changes, but for the ownership of Aayu to take advantage of people wanting to get tested before seeing family, and gouging people trying to stay safe during the holidays is wrong.

Nicholas Falconer

I always love coming here! The entire staff is professional and friendly. Wait times are never super long. And, they offer a variety of services.

Joanne Sekulic

Aayu clinic has been in the neighborhood for many years, and I have always had good experiences with the doctors, PA’s, nurses and staff. I have gone there over the years for a number of random medical issues-illness, infection, rapid heart rate, injuries, vaccinations and they are super organized, friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. I just saw Holly, a PA, by televisit for some virus and she was Awesome:)

Patrick Nowacki

My fiance desperately needed a psych appointment and their system failed so even though we uploaded insurance information they were going to charge us out of pocket. We left

Jeffery Lyle Segal

Caring, efficient detailed care of an infected wound closure done by another doctor whose staff doesnt even answer their phones . When the other docs office was closed they were there to help.. Eric cleaned the area, changed the dressing, and and put me on antibiotics which I desperately needed. I would have had to go to a hospital ER otherwise. Glad I found them!

Marilyn Lazarus

A warm and inviting welcome. There even is coffee and magazines. There was a wait of about 45 minutes but it was pleasant enoughThe nurse was pleasant and competentThe nurse practitioner , Marie was very friendly, listened well and was competent.I recommend this office and would return as well (not too soon I hope😊)

Ariel Brenits

Aayu is very reliable and the staff is professional and friendly. When I get sick with something I can’t treat myself or wait to see my primary, I know aayu will handle it. I also went for a TB test required for a volunteer job and I was able to get in right away. I also appreciate that the nurse practitioner wanted to try something other than antibiotics first (which worked) and I had the antibiotics in case the first option didn’t work in a few days.

Benjamin Rosenthal

The waiting area looks nice. The staff were friendly. The wait was short at 4:30 pm on a Sunday. I paid my copay and was seen by a doctor/NP.

Anais Maljan

Went in for a Kidney Ultrasound follow-up with my PCP who also prescribes my antidepressants and psych meds... and my doctor ghosted me, after I waited an hour without the staff giving me much of an idea of what was going on or what to do besides to keep waiting. After being asked to come in a day earlier; because they (the doctor) would not be available (for the 2nd time in a row) on the day and time I had scheduled an appointment two weeks in advance. To be honest I have had many bad experiences with this doctor and should have known better. But with there being concerning test results, in regards to my kidney function, I figured I might as well get help where I can, with my primary care physician...Now a month after my Kidney Ultrasound I have zero answers and I also dont have the medications I need to be refilled, which were prescribed by this said PCP, who apparently isnt showing up for his booked appointments. What will I do when my psych meds arent refilled, because my appointment (or lack there of) was ghosted on? Im still waiting on the request to be filled by the clinic. (Good luck since it was requested on a Friday) Honestly, its as if my life, current PTSD, and health are a joke when it comes to the ACCOUNTABILITY of the this doctor and staff.

Rose Cooney

Marie Domingo is great, but the office is incredibly slow/hard to reach and can’t seem to get anything done even though I am feeling terrible. I was referred elsewhere for next steps, and it took four days of me calling for the office just to get the order faxed out (which had not been done for some reason) and they still haven’t had time to do necessary steps with my insurance, despite me calling every day. I wanted to change to them for Primary Care but now I may have to go elsewhere...

Colin Bowen

People were great, service was great, but the Lakeview location previously held all tests in the garage. That has since been moved into a 10x15 room where myself and 5 other people stood in line, less than 6 feet apart from one another. I felt very unsafe, left the room and stood outside until capacity opened. I recommend moving the testing location back to the garage.

The Elements

I had an amazing experience with Aayu clinic from the nurse practitioner to the technician doing my COVID test. The team at Aayu clinic is professional, attentive and most of all knowledgeable. They make you feel cared for it’s not just a place to get tested but they actually care and make sure they follow up every step of the way.

Liby Neal

Dr. Brian is a great ND, he was able to diagnose my problem when no other doctor could! He is kind and looks out for his patients. It’s been a breath of fresh air to talk to a doctor that isn’t hurrying my visit and prescribing unnecessary medication. I will highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to get to the cause of any health issue and find treatments that work. I’m looking forward to continuing my treatment with him.

Kirk Gilson

I came in 15 minutes before closing for a wound that required stitches. Dr. Shinde and his nurse stayed nearly 2 hours after closing to take care of me. Dr. Shinde explained all parts of the process to me before starting the procedures. He was kind and patient despite staying late.

Liane Gonzalez

This clinic is awesome! It’s fast, they are knowledgeable and it’s integrative (meaning blends modern and ancient medicine). They don’t jump to prescribe medication if there’s another solution (holistic in nature).I was very impressed. They also can be your primary care physician, which I will think about. For sure use for any random issues when you need to see someone quick!

michael stechly

Best service I’ve had at a hospital! My child needed an emergency assessment and everyone from the front desk staff to the assistant and the primary were more than understanding of my situation and accommodated my every need..overall outstanding. The primary even stayed late to fill out the necessary forms I needed. Truly a great place to have in the city of Chicago and highly recommended.

Genevieve Lauren

Dr Shinde is hands down the best Doctor Ive ever had in my adult life. Ive had a few issues with mental health and I was very hesitant to speak to a Dr because I am not a fan of medication but knew I needed help. I was referred to him by a friend and she was right when she told me that Dr. Shinde has this super rare trait in that he actually cares about his patients. Now that I live in California Ive been doing Tele-Med appointments and hes always been so accommodating in helping me stay on track with everything until I can find someone local. If you need a primary, need help with sorting out some mental health issues, or just want a solid experience all the way around I would highly recommend Aayu. I actually feel cared for... its a very special experience.

Anthony Volpi

Joined 6 years ago when there was just a office in Lakeview. Dr. Shindi is amazing and always gives great customer service. Just seems with the new office things are going corporate. Have doctors, some nurses, assistance not even listening to questions. Lying about my insurance coverage by just getting me to do extra stuff. Stop being sales people and deliver on customer service. Actually the best salesmen never allows their customers to feel that way even. Your in health and the money will be there and come, good loyal customers don’t. Tired of doctors making people feel this way, tired of the world switching to these type of tactics to increase profits. Business, regardless of what industry your in is about the customers because as you know in Chicago there’s millions of doctors just as the millions of people. Most likely finding a new doctor because of my last appointment pushed me over the edge

Johnny Xmas

Refused to treat me because I had not paid an invoice that was only issued 5 days prior, and was never even informed of (I assumed this meant insurance covered it). They even told me they didn’t need anything from me before I left. The worst part is they had the nerve to actually *schedule me an appointment they knew full well they weren’t going to honor* and then *never even informed me that they had cancelled it.*Absolutely shady af business practices, focused on making money over helping people. Any medical professional who would work in such a place should have the sir licensure revoked. Can you imagine being a doctor who supports this? Apparently they found plenty.

hannah

I was tested for Covid here twice. Both times was able to make an appointment quickly and was in and out quickly. Test results came back sooner than promised. Tested positive and they offered a telemedicine appointment and treatment. Good experience overall

Timothy Drake-Brockman

Terrible experience. I arrived to my appointment on time, was told the doctor would be with me shortly. After waiting 45 minutes I had to leave as my baby sitter had to go home. I rebooked and left. A month later I get a $25 no show fee (even though I did show, but the doctor didn’t show). I called them to explain and they refused to waive the no show fee.

Christina H

After my office visit, I was greatly disappointed with the response time it took for the clinical staff to return my phone calls and send in my prescription to the pharmacy. It took three days for the nurse practitioner to call me back and for them to send in my prescription.

Josephina Alexander

I have never been treated so poorly in all my life . I went for blood work and an x-ray. I wait for 2 hours before anyone saw me. Needless to say how uncomfortable I was during a pandemic and the front desk staff made no attempt to social distance anyone coming in. Thankfully Im wearing a mask protecting myself, because God forbid a healthcare facility maintain a safe standard. 2 hours later I get my labs done only to find out the x-ray tech was not there that day. The girl at the front who had such a bad attitude made the visit no better. Here I am finally glad to be out of this establishment. I get a message from a Nurse Practitioner. they didnt draw all the labs that needed to be drawn, so I either come back or all my labs would be canceled. 2 hours, unsafe conditions, and rude behaviors. This was by far insulting. I call the practice to get clarification. And I speak to a krystal which sounded just like the ride girl at the front desk. Stating she was with management and I stead of processing the labs they could perform, she was just going to cancel all of my labs. Then proceeds to say there are other places I could go. Unbelievable!! I then speak with a nurse practitioner who promises I will get a call from the medical director the head physician, Dr.Shinde. I have waited and no call, no text, no email. This display of absolute disappointment from a Doctor is atrocious. No attempt to rectify, no regard for an individuals time, and an utterly disgusting show of unprofessionlism with no accountability ensures I will not be returning . I canceled all future appointments. Time is precious do not waste yours coming to this place.

Mackenzie Betts

I had a great experience at Aayu - it was so quick and easy at the appointment and Drew was very friendly and efficient. Thanks! An update to this review - I never got my results from Aayu. I actually had to call them 4 separate times, was told that they were finding my results and the lab would call me, and then never heard from them. Wouldnt go back there if you paid me.

Siham Rashid

I called this morning because I wasn’t feeling well yesterday and was still in pain. I first made an appointment on-line but contacted the Wicker Park location to see if they would allow a walk-in today. They responded positively. Following some questions at that location an appointment was made at the Lakeview location for COVID tests (rapid and PCR) and a flu test. On the way from the Wicker Park location to Lakeview, I was contacted by a healthcare worker who went over my symptoms and re-confirmed my appointment at the Lakeview location. Waited less than 10 minutes for the tests to be administered. Everyone I dealt with was professional and compassionate. I will definitely continue my healthcare services at Aayu Clinics.

I cut my finger badly but was fortunate to have the team at Aayu provide me pain relief and stitches immediately. The were fast, professional and thoughtful. Total life saver. ER would have taken longer and likely would not have had the amazing customer service. I definitely do not want to have another injury, but if I do I will not hesitate to go to Aayu Clinics

Lauren Sack

I had a telehealth appointment with Dr. Shinde to arrange for a Covid test and she was wonderful! She was thorough, answered all my questions and was so kind. Ive always had a good experience with Aayu and plan to continue to use their services as needed!

Kim Kramer-May

I had an appointment at 930 am . The receptionist was so nice and the physicians assistant was so understanding and made you feel comfortable. I highly recommend..

Carolyn Radville

This place is great! Easy to get appointments and always in and out very quickly for covid testing. I recently tested positive and they were really helpful, calling me with results and getting an appointment scheduled with a provider asap. Highly recommend!

Julie Parizek

BEWARE!!!! I had a cut on my foot requiring 5 stitches. There was no facility in network close by, so Blue Cross said they would cover the claim out of network because it was an emergency. I called to follow up on my claim, and it turns out the billing code Aayu used was a non-emergency code. And they told me (Mgr. Charlene) that there isnt an emergency code for a cut requiring 5 stitches. If you have to go here, out of network, you will have to be a coding expert to make sure your insurance company pays. Totally sucks! Also, dont let them talk you into self-pay. By the time you are done, your bill will be much higher than you ever anticipated.

Scheduled an appointment online and arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment, only to be told that the appointment I made online is really like a reservation, so I have to wait another hour... even though its clearly labeled as APPOINTMENT on their website. Once I was finally able to get looked at, I overheard employees on the other side of the door mocking my story which I used to describe the ailments I was experiencing. I then was then given an incorrect diagnosis and a prescription which obviously did not work. Finally, I received my bill which was more expensive than the actual world-renown specialist I saw a few weeks later. I guess I am partially to blame... I should have known that a place like this is not helpful unless youre experiencing the simple sore throat, stuffy nose, fever, etc. Anything beyond that, a complete waste of time and money.

Jeff Vardon

I had the pleasure of seeing Christine for the 1st time in probably almost 2 years. She was awesome. She remembered me, did a quick review and analysis and made it really easy to do the follow up for my allergy meds etc. It was how I wish every aayu visit could be like. I will try to request her specifically moving forward for follow ups. This is from 12/20/21Dr Brian suggested realistic and doable adjustments to my diet and supplements. Reduced my cholesterol to sub 200 for the 1st time in probably 10yrs. All I really did was eat almost no pork and limit my cheese intake. All else was still inbounds. Working on vitamin D levels next. He’s the man. I may suggest my Dad sees him so he can come off some of his meds. This is from Oct/Nov timeframe 2021.

Casey Fontana

Extremely difficult to get a hold of. Unable to send prescriptions properly resulting in me being bounced between pharmacies and wasting my time. The then incorrectly canceled my prescription without notice. Horrible incompetence for the simplest of tasks. Avoid at all costs and go to a real practice, not this sham of a business.

Rajesh Shah

It was my first visit and I was feeling involved with AAYU to discuss my mental health issues. Great courteous staff, clean and modern facility. Applying all modern updated technology and updated education to treat patients.

Martin Ryder

Don’t go here if you need urgent results from a Covid test. They understaff and this leads to huge delays in the lab. We went at 9 am for a swab and by 6 pm we still had not heard from them. Very unprofessional.

carmen espert

I really liked the efficacy of the receptionist setting up my appointment and having a visit by Dr. Ezra was very comfortable and pleasant, he listened to me and performed all the necessary tests. Thank you!

Shannon Vinton

Had a telehealth appt and got some medication but had to go in for a swab. Went in same day and was in an out within 10 min for a Covid and flu swab. Staff was very friendly.

Kelly Berg

Such nice & helpful people. Also, best phlebotomist of all time. I will never get my blood drawn anywhere else!

Rob

All honesty, thought this was going to be a good place. Their teledoc services were terrible, I wanted to see someone in person for my questions, they called me 10 minutes before my appointment to tell me to stay home and do a teledoc appointment. Even though I had a negative covid test result to prove that my symptoms were not covid.During the teledoc the internet on their end went out so I couldnt communicate with them properly.Overall, it was like using WebMD... I was misdiagnosed and had to go somewhere else.Another terrible factor is that it is nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone when you have an inquiry. Ive been playing phone tag for the past 3 weeks over a bill discrepancy. Im writing this review because Ill probably get a response faster.

Katie LeGros

This clinic was so clean, welcoming and nice. Free indoor garage parking with the nicest reception staff. Jessica Horwitz FNP took care of me and helped me so much because she was so knowledgeable and caring. I’m so grateful they were able to take me as a walk-in so quickly. Everyone was so nice and efficient. I’ll definitely be recommending this clinic!

Makaela Johnston

I went here for a simple case of BV. Long-story short they double-dosed me on an antibiotic (which should never be given twice in a row but my guess is they didn’t bother to check my previous records). It then stripped me of all my good gut bacteria. I’ve now spent hundreds of dollars and two years seeing better professionals to fix a problem that is much worse than what I walked in with. Even if you think you have a problem with an easy fix - just skip this place and go right to a real professional. It’ll save a lot more time, money, and chronic pain in the long run.

Mary Ann Pitcher

The entire experience from signing up for an appointment to getting info about the appointment to actually getting the test was clear and smooth and easy. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful and actually made getting a covid test a pleasant experience.

Kam Hancock

This is my primary care, and my last visit really set me off to write such a low review of Aayu Clinics. First off, everyone in the office seems annoyed when you ask them any questions, and all seem extremely unwillingly to help and unwelcome. I will not be coming back.My last visit, I was feeling cold ish symptoms. After a 45 min wait, I was called back to a doctor who kept talking down to me in an extremely rude and dismissive way. It was unprofessional, she laughed at me when I asked for more information about a specific test. Oh! You dont know what that is either! and starts laughing at me lol.She pressured me into not taking any tests, it seemed like she just wanted to rush me out. She said Ill be fine, itll run its course. Turns out, I had an upper respiratory infection! I went to another office, and the first thing they did was test for anything else, unlike this half-***Ed inspection.Thank you for taking my money Aayu Clinics! (:

Easy to setup appointment, plus free parking behind the building. Staff are friendly, professional! Fast same-day PCR results!!! Super recommended.

Susie's Tropiano

This staff was so happy and had such positive attitudes! They were kind and so helpful! Honestly, I expected the opposite experience and I was so happily surprised. They are great with testing kids!! Easy and painless for them!

Sheila Cochran

I live in Milwaukee and I visit Chicago often. My daughter recommended Aayu Urgent care. I’ve been more than once and I can say from my annual asthma and sinus related issues to chopping off a chunk of my thumb. They have been and continue to be a great clinic for care. I actually have no trace of a scar. the Doctor put some magic foam on it all I have it the memory. I highly recommend them.

Laura Friddle

Quick to schedule - everyone I spoke to was extraordinarily nice and helpful. And the person to administer the test for my two small children was cheerful, personable, and excellent at putting them at ease.

ROSE CHEROKEE

I got a call to do the pre-screening right on time and the testers where so pleasant. They administered my test with care and urgency so I could travel internationally. They also expedited my test results to make sure I would have what I needed when time to board. Amazing location!

Melissa Cohen

Great appointment. No wait. Very thorough exam and conversation. Compassionate expert care. Ive been a patient here for 7 years and been taken care of with everything I hope.

Genevieve Smelser

Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk (at both locations, always!)I’ve been seen by Dr. Shinde, Dr. Kathure, and Dr. Ezra, and all are very professional and friendly, and treat my concerns with respect! I’ve been coming to Aayu for almost 2 years and feel really taken care of. Thank you, Aayu!

Kelsey

RUN away FAR, but read FIRST! Ive been suffering from severe low back pain, leg numbness can barely walk etc since August, been to the chiro, 2 spine specialists, pain mgt, natural route etc. I had been researching clinics reading reviews, checking prices, insurance etc. Found Aayu Clinic called there Nov 30th spoke to someone got right in for an appt for a consult on Monday the 25th perfect and was told I could start Ketamine as soon as that Saturday. I had asked to meet with Dr. Jay and was told I would be, when I got there I magically was meeting with Kristine the NP (odd?) but ok, should of been clarified. So had the pre-pre consult with her, they drew labs (which were never discussed) she was very nice but had no knowledge of the Ketamine and said I would have to speak to the Dr prior to the treatment during THAT consult or the front desk. Ah okay so another consult? So I finish this consult and then head to the front desk to ask more questions, and schedule the Ketamine, while at the front desk questioning them I was told everything BUT the Ketamine itself is covered and it would be $175.00 flat that day okay perfect got it I asked a few more questions and finally the girl said, Im not an expert ya know? Well obvi I wouldnt because I do not work here you do you see these patients all the time and know whats going on so I would think youd have some knowledge but Ill just continue to play stupid and leave my health in your hands and hope everything goes smooth. Ah again okay?! That should of been my indicator to shut it down right there. So I scheduled the Ketamine appointment for the following Saturday Nov 30th in the afternoon, needed a driver made proper arrangements left work early the whole 9. We get there, theres more paperwork to fill out papers that I had no clue what I was signing things that SHOULD of been discussed prior but WERE NOT, paid the $175.00 got a receipt sat in the waiting room. A tech came and got us, took vitals went over my chart very nice woman explained she was a medic cool we connected, then went into another room extremely uncomfortable everything was going to be done on an exam table. I was stuck 5 times and 5 veins were blown, had to call in another person to stick me (I know Im a hard stick but really?) and while all the commotion was going on there is a knock on the door it opens and the front desk lady comes in and says, Oh it will be an extra $200.00. UMMM excuse me FOR WHAT? NO. I was told $175.00 multiple times and I HAVE YET to see the Dr, mind you this entire start to finish should be an hour, and we have been here over an hour and Im annoyed, tired, hot and have a brutal headache so my irritation is rising and now you want more money? So finally the Dr comes in spends about 2 minutes and says lets start, I said we needed to have a discussion and I did not want to go through with it, he comes back in and tells me the office manager Mya will be in on Monday and he assures me she will do a sliding scale and reduce the price to $275.00 because she has done it for ONE other patient before. ONE.. Ah okay. I said I will call Mya on Monday speak to her directly and want my credit card refunded. He spent some time trying to convince me and how much I NEED the Ketamine etc.. Okay Bro. So they take the IV out we get ready to leave stop at the front desk, cancel further appointments & advise that my card will be refunded and ask that Mya will be in Monday and we will follow up then - all confirmed. Ok perfect right?! Monday rolls aroundI call at 10:46am asking to speak to Mya and she magically stepped away from her desk and she would call me back. Alright I gave her a chance - As of 2:45pm I hadnt heard from her so I decided to give her a little jingle back and was advised that her phone magically wasnt working and she could only be contacted by cell phone. Ah okay ODD! Just goes to show their professionalism and mannerisms. Absolutely WILL NOT BE RETURNING. Just goes to show you how healthcare is failing us these days.

Mandy Schoenbein

I am a long time client of Aayu Clinics. First in Lakeview & now I come to this location as well. The entire team is incredible. Ive had a great deal of health issues over the years & feel heard every time I come in for something. Dr. Shinde is the reason I decided to make them my primary provider as well. He & every healthcare provider Ive ever seen here listens, encourages self care & helps you with next steps when necessary. Im so very grateful for this team & all theyve done over the years.

Ed McCarter

Horrible experience with my Covid19 testing, do not recommend. Results were never posted on patient portal and I was never notified. After I showed up for my antibody test I asked about my covid19 test results and only then was I notified that I had tested negative. There is a postmark on the results that Aayu received them 5 days ago, but failed to ever update the patient portal or notify me.

Blake Clifton

Its a really nice place! Very professional, well located. If you need you need Urgent care or a primary care provider I would highly recommend Aayu Clinics in Wicker Park. They do take walk ins as well. Keep up the great work!

Joe Roscoe

I had an amazing experience! I have been to the Lakeview Clinic earlier and this one seems to get me in and out faster. Despite the efficiency, the doctors always spend time understanding you. This is how healthcare should be like.

Nicole Graziano

Dr. Bernier is very knowledgeable, and its evident he is passionate about his work. He is also empathetic and attentive. I walked in hoping to have found a practitioner who would not just utilize supplements as treatment instead of getting to the root cause. Dr. Bernier did a thorough exam and was committed to finding the root cause(s). I will definitely be back!

Andre Vertiz

Visited mid December. Took almost two weeks to get my throat culture results. I have a question about my bill which I received early January and I still have not heard back, just an email saying they are looking into it. I have followed up about a dozen times now. Wont be going back.

Ned R

This team is pretty sweet. They always see me right away, never a long wait. Super professional and easy to work with. Holly is the bomb! Give ‘em a shot :)

Justin And Lisa

Do not book an appointment here if you’re thinking you can walk in for Covid. Over the last week, the website changed information following both a booking of appointments and calling to confirm the process. This place sucks. Never went after getting the revised info and will never go here again. Go elsewhere!!

Cristine Pope

I can get an appointment right away. Staff are friendly and caring. They followup after your visit to see how you are doing.

Daniel J. Steger

Dr Martinez and the Aayu staff were always willing to help sort out any questions Ive had before and after my surgery and during my recovery process. Thank you!

Mz Mr

I was misdiagnosed by the nurse practitioner as having shingles when i described the skin infection that developed in a cut on my arm and showed her how it is spreading through my bloodstream with discoloration in the nearby hand and other symptoms of infection. I have been a piercer for years so i know an infection when i see one. I told her i need oral antibiotics and she prescribed a cream. I spent $125 for a visit and i recommend no one go here. I was also misgendered and am now looking for a more affordable option to get a proper prescription. That price is ridiculous for the 1hr wait with an appointment and misdiagnosis. I honestly just need medicine to treat this but the real drug dealers work with pharmaceuticals.

red green

I scheduled a 2-hour rapid covid-19 test on their website for 2:35pm on a tuesday, expecting it to be sorta busy since theyre so highly rated. i arrived sorta early (2:20ish), and there was no wait. they let me get tested right away, i was out by 2:36, and had my test results texted to me by 2:43.

Michael Gallagher

Just wow had me sit in the waiting for over an hour for them to tell me my original insurance that informed them and updated them on, they didn’t take I told Tony specifically when I signed in what my insurance was. Unfortunately one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had

Riccardo Reati

I love Ayu clinic and Christine! I think the visits are always holistic and very comprehensive, I feel very comfortable at discussing different issue with my doctor. I truly recommend it!

Jessie Vass

Aayu Clinics is my go to! They are my primary care, but also the place I go for walk-in check-ups when I’m feeling ill. They are always caring, kind, quick as possible and very thorough. They even have snacks and beverages in the waiting room!

Christian Belland

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Waiting area was clean and comfortable and had free snacks! The doctor I saw was knowledgable and very hospitable. Will definitely be going back. Great hours too!

Brianna Martinez

The service was great and fast once I got to the test taking phase. The telehealth appointment needed prior to getting the test was hard to figure out. I am a millennial and good with technology, but I couldn’t find the link. Pretty good overall bu the website was really frustrating.

Jodi Shachar

Had a wonderful experience here. Everyone was nice and accommodating. Explained everything very clearly. Had a wonderful nurse take my blood. Extremely caring about my comfort. Highly recommend.

fred streeter

The staff is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the injury that I had my finger. I also love that they had some snacks for me to eat on because I hadnt had any food at work at the time. I just want to thank yall for all yall have done for me. Sincerely Fred Streeter.

Miss Tiffany Green

I was very pleased at how quickly I was able to have my Covid 19 testing done. And was especially pleased with how caring the physician was during my virtual dr visit via phone call.

Estuardo Mazin

Everyone is friendly and helpful. Dr Jay is genuinely caring and wants to see you succeed with your health goals. He listens and helps you create a plan that’s realistic and obtainable. He celebrates with you your success and encourages you to strive to become a healthier you.

Lindsey Finn

This review is specifically for Christine Kuthure. she’s one of the best medical practitioners i’ve seen; she listens, she’s kind, compassionate, non-judgmental and thorough. i will follow her anywhere she goes.

Martin Garcia

Thanks a lot, good experience as always, all the personal was very professional. I have a lot of question about my illness and Doctor answered all my doubts.During the day they texted me to see if I was satisfied with the services and to let me know they submitted my prescription and sent me the letter I asked for in a short timeThank you very much

Carlin Thomas

Scam billing department. They hang up on you once you follow up on your insurance coverage not matching the amount the business charged you.

Ajee Gray

I love going to them! I’m always wary of hospitals and urgent cares due to family history but every time I go to Aayu Clinic they always are thorough and have the best staff and are very descriptive with explanations for the regular people who don’t know lbs

Amanda Vasconcellos

Walked in at 11:30 before work at noon. Was at work by 11:55. Highly recommended. The team was super helpful and patient. Facility is clean. Super fast. I got my results like 30 min after I left.

Radames Velez Darby

Ways to improve:1- do away with the incredibly long, convoluted, redundant automated answering system.2- have staff actually answer your phones when people do finally get thru the aforementioned automated answering system.3- stop pushing telemedicine on patients that do not want to be seen in such a manner.4- listen to the patient and show compassion before pushing the patient to your website to schedule an evaluation via telemedicine.

Chyenne Spears

I did have A great visit And ketamine infusion really helped me and thank you guys. I’m so ready for my next treatment next week Month

JUSTIN BIGGS

Came into the Lakeview location with head gash. Promptly seen to with expert, friendly, knowledgeable staff who assesed and treated the wound. 5 stiches. Back 48 hours later for a wound check and stiches out next week. Great service. We have 2 young kids we have brought here as well when misdiognosed by their PCP. Thks Dr Shinde for creating an immediate care facility that really is immediate.

Anant Goyal

I had a tele-screening at the Wicker Park location for Covid. The nurse practitioner who was talking to me was friendly and professional. She gave me all the information I needed and had the patience while I fetched answers to the questions she posed.

Shawn Rutledge

All the staff is always friendly. The medical professionals are helpful, encouraging, and knowledgeable. Ive been coming here for years and its my favorite PCP to date.

Odin Creel

Jasleen Singh PA-C is friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure I had all the referrals I needed. The service has always been fast and helpful with other care providers as well.

Santiago Murillo

Hello my name is Santiago Murillo- I want to give a little information about the treatment I am receiving in this clinic starting with the staff and the staff is very kind to give a very nice service which makes one feel very comfortable I want to thank you too to the doctor who is administering the ketamine infusion last Thursday was my first infusion and the truth is that today Saturday I began to see differences and the truth is I am very excited and I have great faith that it will be a very good treatment for my health after having a major depression for years and years

sfs sxsv

Incredible amazing staff. Very fast service, in and out. Would highly recommend it!!!! They accept walk ins and do rapid and PCR tests!!! For free if you don’t have insurance and will email you the results.

Marangelli Otero

I’m receiving top notch service at Aayu. I’ve always had trouble staying on top of my health but with Marie at Aayu and the rest of my care team I feel for the first time, I’m making great progress and see myself actually excited to keep appointments and am determined to get to optimum health.

Joshua Honore

Ezra Hunter is, by far and away, the best healthcare provider I have seen throughout my entire medical history. Ezra listens and works with you to help you find, and accomplish, the best possible treatment or outcome for your specific medical situation.

Marc Besteman

Everyone at this clinic is helpful and make you feel comfortable. Very easy to talk to and they answer all of your questions, no matter how many! Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality heath care

Michael Scherer

Very easy process to schedule for a COVID test. Friendly staff. If you need a quick appointment, I highly recommend Aayu - Lakeview

Clara Wilcox

I always have excellent care at Aayu. I made them my primary care team even after moving out of the Wicker Park area- I continue to come back for the quality staff, clean space and inviting atmosphere.

Andrej B

Hit my eye and had blurry vision so ran to the closest immediate care. It was 10 mins to closing time. No one even mentioned that and took good care of me. Very friendly staff; very clear in explanation. Could recommend to anyone.

Nabil Elsheshai

Incredibly unprofessional and unethical. Actively dont care about their patientswell-being or time. Avoid!

Jenni Winegar

Very friendly staff! Was seen on time and the nurse practitioner I saw was very informative. The woman at the front desk was also incredibly helpful and friendly.

Kent Maynard

Kristine is wonderful. Caring, kind, empathetic, cooly competent, thoughtful. I am grateful to know her and to have been a direct beneficiary of her care.

Dawn Kulich

I set the appointment online and they were able to accommodate my needs for Covid-19 testing by referring me to the Lakeview location. Thank goodness I drove there rather than having taken other transportation.

David Newman

I went to the Lakeview facility. Reception staff were helpful and competent. Nurse was very nice and had excellent skills. Doctor was highly competent with great patient skills.

Alexander Anton

Ezra was very informative and receptive to all the questions I had about ketamine therapy. Excited to start receiving treatment and seeing results!

Terese Jackson

Got in early and was helped immediately. I really appreciated that they took the time to make sure I was feeling better before I left and didnt just order a z pack and move on. First time I had a breathing treatment and it really helped. Thank you.

Brittany B

This office is clearly too busy for their patients I had a telemedicine visit that I waited over an hour to have even though I had an appointment the Dr Shinde was distracted the entire visit he asked me the same question more than once and kept being interrupted by his staff. He told me he would send me a new script and still has not sent it to the pharmacy and won’t clarify the directions to my other medications so I have been left out to dry AGAIN by Dr Shinde I think I’ll be taking my business elsewhere this is so unprofessional and unkind to those people who rely on the doctor to do no harm.

Anas Sohail, M.D.

Great service. Swabber was super friendly. Kind staff. I was in and out, no hassle. Plus they’ll take you for free if you don’t have insurance. 10/10!

Yasmine Johnson

The company did not give me the service I paid for and wasted my time and also took my $60 copay and told me I couldnt b billed. I also did not get a refund but a receipt that says void. I hope I can get my money back. They say five to ten business days.

Jeff Peek

Ive been there a couple of times for some treatment and theyve been great. No complaints. Staff is friendly, helpful and professional.

Jonathan Egan

Very professional, quick (literally in and out in 15 minutes). Results were sent via Text so no follow-up hassle. Results in downloadable pdf format perfect for showing to US CBP etc.

Misael M

I booked an appointment for my first yearly check up and take a look at my knee. They took me in, took my money and then told me to book an appointment with the lakeview location.I didn’t even get a flu shot

Kaitlin De Winter

Christine is an amazing Doctor, she is so nice and knowledgeable, she takes awesome care of me as a patient! The front desk staff are super nice as well.

Shaun Lowekey45

Went to get a test done, they could not find me a pharmacy to get my prescription filled and with the run around for over a week. I will not be going back to that location.

Roberta Payne

The person who gave me the covid-19 test went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and explained every step she was going to do, which made me feel comfortable and completely at eased. Every place should have her in charge.
